Blue Cross, Ipswich has been designed specially with pets in mind. Sick, injured and homeless pets have relied on the Blue Cross in the Suffolk area for more than 60 years and demand for its rehoming and veterinary services is increasing.
The new £3.5m Blue Cross rehoming centre on Bourne Hill means it can double the number of pets it helps each year. The facilities include puppy and kitten areas, an on-site veterinary clinic for centre pets and dedicated exercise areas, including 20 acres of neighbouring woodland where staff and volunteers can walk dogs.
This purpose-built facility benefits from the use of the market-leading Kingspan KS1000RW composite roof panels. These panels will provide the client with a LPCB and FM approved composite system. These systems provide a fast, single-fix installation with high and durable thermal performance, insulation continuity, minimal air leakage and the elimination of interstitial cavity condensation and cold bridging.
