Commercial Roofing and Facade Solutions provided a full roofing and facade package including design, supply and installation.

The complete roof solution included insulated composite roof coverings utilising Kingspan TopDek roof panels coated in Sika-Trocal membrane. The product was recommended due to its superior weathertightness, thermal performance, airtightness, fire performance and structural performance. To the roof we also installed Brett Martin ‘Marvault’ polycarbonate rooflights along with a full restraint man-safe safety walkway system for future roof maintenance.

The facade comprised of 240mm Eurobond Rainspan panels. Rainspan provides the perfect structural support for the 3 rainscreen systems, combining ease and speed of installation to create a weathertight building envelope early on in the build programme.

Jurastone Stone Cladding was the clients preferred choice for the outer facade. The stone being imported from Germany is cut and honed to create a smooth natural finish with pre-made corners. Corium brick slip tiles from Taylor Maxwell added the traditional feel to this modern build all framed in distinctive aluminium flashings. The facade was completed using Booth Muirie ACM Panels. These interconnecting panels gave a sharp defined contrast to the natural products used.

This impressive retail unit presented us with some challenges including intricately designed panels arriving on site already fabricated to size, meant our design team played an important role in making sure everything fitted together seamlessly. Our site team management and installation team were commended on the quality and speed of installation. All program dates were met with the client being able to occupy as planned leading to a smooth transition and handover.
